JOYFUL BIRTHING

Hi!

My name is Elisa, and I'm a proud wife to Aaron and mother to Jude, Silas, Eli, and Pia. We live just west of Colby, KS on our family farm.

 

When not doula-ing, I stay at home with our children. I love to spend time with my husband, children, and extended family, in addition to reading, baking, and spending time outside in the sunshine!

I have been passionate about birth support since the birth of our second child. Our first child's birth was not ideal, and it was at that point that I began my research into labor/birth support. A new world opened up! My following three hospital births, with the support of my loving husband and amazing doulas who were at my side from beginning to end, went beautifully. 

 

Over the past 8 years, I have spent many hours researching stats, reading labor support books, and listening to woman after woman tell me their birth stories. (I could listen to birth stories all day!) I truly believe doulas play a vital role in a family getting their desired birth, whatever that may look like. I have completed my official training session with DONA International. I now provide pregnancy, labor, birth, post-partum, and breastfeeding support to expecting families.
